Challenge Day: we made a booklet of activities to do around town to inspire a different kind of public interaction. Among other things we have asked dog owners the names of their dogs, changed street signs based on something that happened to us in that place and performed a 3 minute sequence of gestures in a public place. This event was created with the hope that it would inspire more events of a similar nature. Passing the baton to the next artist.
One Challenger stood out above the rest and that was Lily McCraith. Working together with Teresa Grimaldi they embraced the challenges and have proven themselves worthy winners of the prestigious Challenge Day Winner title. We have enjoyed your photos, video, sketches and notes and Cath and Rich are also worthy of special mention as your part time collaborators. The prize of half the money collected is on its way to you. We eagerly await the next exciting event in the PARC (Participatory Art Relay Competition). Lily and Teresa its over to you x We've had a busy festival this year with the first ever Challenge Day and Wolf Club and the second ever Wolf's Big Night Out. We have enjoyed ourselves immensely and as ever doing stuff makes us hungry for more.
Wolf Close has been invited to share work at Hatch Scratch 2013. We are extremely excited to be taking part in this event. This marks our stepping across a threshold into a new world.
We'd like to thank to Dartington College of (He)arts which is in everything we do and without which we wouldn't be. Backpack on, we've got 15 minutes... |
